Another Miracle Story - Thank You Lord for Inspiring Me

 MIRACULOUSLY HEALED OF CANCER!

May 13, 1971 my doctor said, "I wish I could help you. You have to get rest. Don't worry about drug addiction. The pain counteracts this. You have no other choice." Then he pulled out a prescription blank for two hundred of one of the most powerful pain averting drugs available. I was dying of cancer and the doctors had done all they knew to do. For over four years they had fought to save my life.
My name is Gwen Lanning. The disease had been diagnosed as "Reticulum Cell Sarcoma, a rare bone cancer. A brief history of my illness is as follows:
October 1966 to July 1967: My left arm began aching and pain increased until I could get no rest. Cortisone injections furnished temporary relief but pain always returned with higher intensity. X-rays, a biopsy and pathology examinations of bone and surrounding tissue samples revealed a malignant tumor. Seventy-five percent of the bone had already been destroyed by the tumor leading the doctors to estimate the disease had existed for at least three years. At my insistence to know the whole truth, I was told that this is a slow growing type of cancer and that statistics indicate it is terminal within a short period of time after it is discovered.
August 1967 to October 1970: Radiation therapy was applied to the arm over a five-week period. Pain and swelling started in the upper left leg. X-rays showed nothing, yet the leg continued swelling and the pain increasing. By December 1969, I could hardly use the leg. A radioactive material was injected into the blood stream and a bone scan was made. This revealed a large tumor on the bone above the knee. Cobalt treatments were applied to the area over a three week period during which time the right shoulder began aching. Pain in the shoulder increased so that pain averting drugs and sleeping pills were ineffective in providing rest. X-rays again showed nothing and I was sent home with instructions to do no work. For several months I had to be treated, physically as an infant. My body became so sore and swollen that I couldn't bear the pain caused by the softest touch. Bone scans, another biopsy and pathology examinations of bone and bone marrow samples confirmed fear of the disease's progressive growth. It had now spread throughout all the long bones, the spinal column, into the liver, spleen and other organs of the body. Radiation was ruled out as a course of treatment and anti-cancerous drugs by injection were tried.
November 1970 to May 1971: The injections of the anti-cancerous drugs were stopped because of their damage to the blood chemistry and another drug was taken, by mouth. Side effects from this drug resulted in a severe infection of the entire genito-urinary tract, resulting in even more misery. A tumor in my left side had enlarged so that it was pressing on the intestines. Normal elimination of the body's waste was virtually impossible and I became so sick that food or water wouldn't stay in my stomach. I asked if the tumor could be removed by surgery and was told, "No, Gwen, the cancer is too far advanced."
These are the medical facts. They don't reveal all the physical suffering and mental depression which existed. My body had built up a resistance to the effects of the pain averting drugs so that more powerful ones were introduced as the less potent ones became useless. These served only to dull the pain...never to eliminate it. I tried to hold back the tears and cries of agony but would often call out, "Oh, Lord, how much longer must I suffer." I knew my time on earth was ending and I was depressed as I looked about and saw where all the money being spent on me could be used to a better advantage.
Our eldest son had been a music major in college, but had discontinued studies for lack of financial support. He had met two new Christian friends, and had requested their prayers for me.
On the morning of May 17, 1971, one of his new found friends called me and said, "The Lord has directed me to call you and tell you not to worry. He said that He is not taking you home for a long time."
I had barely met this man, and I must admit that I had some rather odd feelings about him and his so-called message from the Lord! I told him that I wasn't worried and that I was ready and wanted to be taken from this life. But, he continued, telling me of miracle healings that he had witnessed and of his being healed of arthritis a few years earlier.
On May 28, 1971, a friend came to me and asked me to go with her, the following day, and attend a miracle healing service. The service would be in Portland, Oregon, and would be conducted by Miss Kathryn Kuhlman. I had read Miss Kuhlman's book, "I Believe in Miracles" and had watched her weekly telecast many times. I had rejoiced, in amazement, to each testimony of miraculous healing. These testimonies had helped me to attain belief in God's healing powers for persons who had "enough faith". I didn't have the faith to believe that He would heal such a hopeless case as I, and couldn't make myself ask Him to waste His time on me!
My friend was very insistent, and I looked to my husband for advice fully realizing that my body was in no condition to withstand an automobile trip of 400 miles round trip.
A nurse friend was present. She urged me to go, saying "This may be the answer for you." After some discussion my husband and I concluded that I had nothing to lose, and that the trip could be made bearable - by my being completely cushioned with soft pillows, to absorb the shocks and vibrations of travel.
At seven o'clock the following morning, my "insistent" friend, her pastor's wife, and I began a most rewarding and never-to-be-forgotten journey.
As the pastor's wife entered the car she said to me, "I didn't sleep a wink all night. I prayed all night for God to tell you to make this trip." For the next three hours, I listened as she continuously related accounts of miracle healings that she and her husband had witnessed during their ministry in Norway.
We arrived at Portland's Civic Auditorium three hours before the doors were scheduled to be opened. It was a typical early spring Oregon day - a very cool drizzly, rainy day, and I was soon chilled through and through. Every bone and fiber of my body shuddered and ached with indescribable intensity. I had never been more miserable. My friends sensed my distress, and one worked her way through the crowd, for water, so that I could take the pills, which would supply me with some relief.
Thousands of people were waiting for the doors to open. I saw many in wheel chairs and on crutches - some appearing in even more need than I. I silently prayed for them and thought to myself, "There must be something very unusual about this Kathryn Kuhlman and her healing ministry." However, I still had no thought of hope of my own healing.
As the doors opened, a request was made that there be no pushing or shoving. All the people apparently failed to hear the request, for there was certainly much of both! As the two ladies attempted to shield me, my "insistent" friend said, "I'll never do this again. If this makes you sicker than you already are, your family will never forgive me." I couldn't help feeling sorry for her, in her deep concern.
As the service began, Miss Kuhlman said, "If you people think you've come here for me to heal you, you are mistaken. My hands are only human hands. They have no magical powers. Only God can heal, and He is here wanting to help you. All you have to do is ask and believe. He will answer your every need." She called a young lady to come forward and tell the congregation of her recent healing experience.
This young woman had been afflicted with a rare blood disease. Medical science had no cure for the disease, and she had been informed that she had only a short time to live. God had touched her body and made her whole. She was now a picture of radiant health. I absorbed her every word, and suddenly hope came to me. Now, praise God, I was able to pray as never before - for myself!
My silent prayer was very short and simple, as I said, "Lord, if you can heal this one of a fatal blood disease, you can heal me of a fatal bone cancer. Heal me, Lord, to glorify your name." Immediately a sensation of warmth filled my entire body. The warmth increased rapidly to an intense heat. I removed my sweater but this didn't help. I felt as if I would explode from the heat. My friend, the pastor's wife, was watching me and apparently, through her past experiences, knew that God's healing powers had taken over my body. Miss Kuhlman was asking those who were experiencing healings to come to the stage. My friend said to me, "Shall we go up?"
This was all I needed, and I literally ran to the stage. Suddenly, I realized that my leg was no longer stiff, the swelling had left my body, and for the first time in over four years - I had no pain. I felt just wonderful.
I described my experience to Miss Kuhlman and the congregation, then she had me to do some exercises which had been impossible for me to do before. The exercises were easy to do - and painless! Suddenly she touched my cheek, my knees buckled and I fell to the floor in a semi-conscious state. I didn't know, then, what causes this phenomenon, but later learned that this happens when God's power moves very strongly through one's mind and body. Some call it "being slain by the Spirit."
As I was lifted to my feet, Miss Kuhlman simply said, "Go!" I ran off the stage in a state of happiness and excitement I had never known, and returned to my friends. We continued rejoicing and praising God as bodies were healed and souls saved all around us. We were truly sorry that the service had to end.
As we traveled homeward, we couldn't praise Him nearly enough. Without pain, I had no need for drugs or cushioning pillows! These were all in the past. My husband, who had sent me on my way to Portland with a motivation not born of faith in healing but rather of a desire to let what he considered would be the inevitable consequence of terminal cancer "come as it may," greeted his healthy wife with the dumbfounded understatement,"Well, that's what you went there for wasn't it?" He only confessed, much later, that he'd felt that the long journey would simply be "a means to an end." Now we share the spirit of rejoicing in faith that as God has healed my body, He has done a healing work in our marriage. The wholeness was for both of us.
I had asked God to heal me to glorify His name. He began using me at once as He led me before many groups and individuals in my hometown of Reedsport. Then I went to North Carolina, to visit, and personally tell my story to friends and relatives there. Some had to see before believing! Invitations there placed me before nine church congregations, several groups in homes, and in conference with a medical doctor who had recently lost three patients suffering from the same disease I had had. One of those patients had been my mother's sister.
My brother, Don Reece, and his wife are Southern Baptist missionaries to Nigeria, West Africa. They were home on furlough at the time. I was more than thrilled to see them returning to the mission field - with renewed faith and assurance that, with God, nothing is impossible. He had visited me in Oregon only a few weeks before. He knew how sick I was and undoubtedly had little hope of ever seeing me again this side of Heaven. The last words that he had said to me were, "Gwen, I'm still praying for a miracle." Miracles were nothing new to him. He had witnessed many, but this was the only "instant" one that he can recall.
God continued using me after my return to Oregon. Untold millions soon heard my story through my personal appearance in numerous churches, other healing services in Portland, and television and radio broadcasts of an interview, which Miss Kuhlman taped for her telecast "I Believe in Miracles." Letters and telephone calls from viewers and listeners of the tape had blessed my life beyond comprehension.
For many months preceding May 29, 1971, I had to rely on drugs to ease the pain and furnish my rest at night. The bugs mentioned in the opening paragraph of this report were being taken at the rate of two every four hours. Two were taken at eleven o'clock that morning, as we waited for the doors to open. I have had none since. After three years. I've had no need for drugs of any kind - not even a common aspirin. The only known existing evidence of the disease ever being present is a scar on my left forearm - left by the incision from the first biopsy. The doctors find nothing more. "Fantastic" a most frequently used word, as those who hear my story attempt to express their amazement. Doctors say it, nurses say it, non-professional people say it, and we are all in agreement!
He saved my soul and planted within me a desire to serve Him throughout my life. This is the greatest of all miracles. He healed my body of a most dread disease. Then He baptized me in His Holy Spirit, removed from me my life‑long shy nature and gave me power and boldness to witness for Him. His Holy Spirit fills me with such love and joy that I am powerless to resist sharing all that He has done for me.
Eleven months after God healed me, our wayward younger son was involved in  motorcycle/truck collision.  For the next three months, God comforted and gave me strength to stay by his side almost constantly, as the doctors and nurses fought to save his life.  To watch and wait, praying hopefully for the recovery of a loved one so critically injured, is a very trying experience.  Only God's love can sustain one through such an ordeal. Had I not known of His great love, I'm sure I could not have endured the suspense.
I praise God for doctors and nurses who are dedicated to the task of preserving life, and am assured that they are certainly called by God into this service.  However, they're limited in power and their efforts aren't always successful.  Without their help, our son would have surely died within a few hours.  Yet, after all earthly means had been exhausted, there was still no hope for his recovery.  His brain had suffered such severe damage that his remaining alive would be far worse than death. He, in their opinion, was destined to a life as a helpless vegetable - if he lived at all.
Prayers of Christian friends focused on his struggle for life and God answered their prayers.  God brought him back from the very edge of death, rebuilt and cleansed his brain, delivered him from drug abuse and immorality, and placed within him the one desire to forever remain in the center of God's will.  The doctors and nurses are amazed that he lives.  They are far more amazed that he has control over his mind and body functions.
His handicap is at present minimal; and just recently the specialist charged with his care has completely released him from any further medical attention and from all medication.  Restoration to a normal and productive life is becoming a reality.  Praise the Lord!
God's word tells us in Luke 18:27, "The things which are impossible with man re possible with God."  In Hebrews 13:8 we read, "Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever."  My son and I are but two examples, bearing testimony to the truth of these verses.  God has done what man could not, in an age where many claim that miracles ended when Jesus Christ left earth.  These seem either to forget or just pass over Jesus' promise "never to forsake us."
The healing of the physical body is truly an expression of God's great love but even more marvelous and important is His gift of eternal life for those who accept Him as their Savior.  In Hebrews 9:27 we read, "It is appointed unto man once to die - after this the judgment."  Life on earth will someday end for my son and me, but our names are in God's Book of Life.  Our spiritual bodies will live throughout eternity with Jesus, as he has promised (Matthew 25:46)
Have you accepted Jesus as your Savior?  If you have not, let me urge you to do so, now, and let Him place a miracle in your life.  You will never regret it.  Praise the Lord!  Bless His Holy name!

In 1993 I found myself under the knife of a doctor removing one third of my colon, and 3 days later my doctor informed me I needed to start chemo and a little radiation treatment, and I asked if I do not, you may have 4 to 6 months to live.
That was then ,this is now, over 17 years latter, in 1993 I got down on my hands and knees an preyed to my “GOD” help me get thou this, I will do what ever you ask of me, my friends you will get what you ask for I have found that out, my preying has had me on a 17 year journey of discovery about why i’m here and why I spent the first 8 years of cancer recovery being a student of nature and how God placed everything we need right in front of us to heal and maintain this gift of life inside this manifest cellular body, my body became my own laboratory and I began to flood my body with live foods and juices with in the first mouth of the doctors gave me the good news, yes I call it good news because it completely changed my life, and gave me back my life.
I’m living a million dollar life on a 10 dollar a day budget. And I’m loving it. You are a cellular human being just like me, the only differences is I live on live foods and the chances are good you are still consuming dead foods, and digging your grave with a spoon, sorry about that. It is time for you to make a change, if you wish to live 10,20, or even another 50 years disease free and happy again.
If there is one thing I now know, you can never live a disease free life living on the standard American diet it is a killer, and disease creator, Here is my advise, flood your body with vegetable juice, and I do not mean V-8, but real live vegetable juice the kind you make and I make, do that for 3 day and God will show you why he placed everything here for you to heal when you are sick, God Bless. Why I Had To Go Through My Pain

 You probably know my story. My past was bad: I got abused as a child and I fell into all sorts of addictions. I fell into sin and couldn’t get out. For many long years, I got really broken. I was ruled by shame and insecurities. I was so messed up.

But I thank God I went through that, because I understand the sinner who is seeking God. I feel that because of what I went through, my life and my mission is completely fixated on welcoming every kind of sinner in this world.

Here’s what I noticed: Religious leaders who have been broken accept broken people. This is one of the reasons why we accept anyone in the Light of Jesus Family—adulterers, thieves, prostitutes, drug addicts, alcoholics, gamblers, perverts… (They’re all sinners like me!)

Let me declare this from the housetops.   My little communityis 100% for the unchurched.

  Here’s an insight from another preacher named Steven Furtick. If you found Jesus just last week at the Feast(that’s what we call our prayer meeting), then that was the last time this community was for you. After you found Jesus, the Feast is no longer for you anymore. You’re no longer my target. You’re no longer my market. You’re no longer my audience. You’re no longer my customer. You should now be my co-worker!

You shouldn’t be in front of me; You should be beside me. You shouldn’t be the person I’m serving; you should be serving WITH me, shoulder to shoulder, hand to hand, blessing the world together. Because thisFeast is no longer for you.

       Let me share with you a powerful story…

The Story of Joyce Meyer

       I was in Sydney last month and I heard Joyce Meyer share the very moving story of her life.

       As a child, Joyce was sexually abused by her own father. Because it was a pattern and would happen at specific days of the week, Joyce knows how many times he abused her—her father molested her for more than 200 times.

       And sadly, her mother let him.

       Joyce grew up from that horrible past, gave her life to Jesus, and went on to preach the Gospel. And God asked her to forgive her father—which she did.

       Twice in her life, she mustered courage and told her father that she forgave him—but in both times, he denied ever doing anything wrong.

       But one day, God didn’t only ask that she forgive him. God asked her to follow the Bible when it says, “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink.” (Romans 12:20)

       Her parents lived far from the city and they were growing old. That was when God spoke to her heart, “Buy a house for them in the city near you, so you can take care of them.”

She couldn’t believe what she heard. But she obeyed. At first, she wanted to buy a small ugly house and fill it with second hand furniture. But ultimately, she bought them a nice house for them and cared for them.

For 30 years, her father never said, “I’m sorry” to Joyce. 

One day, 3 years after they moved into their new house, her mother called up and said, “Can you visit your Dad? He has been crying non-stop everyday for 3 weeks.” So Joyce visits him. And this is what her father said, “For the past 3 years, I’ve been wanting to say this to you. I’m sorry. I’m sorry for what I did to you when you were a child. I didn’t know it was going to do so much harm.”

Joyce learned that her father’s family was incestuous. It’s true that hurting people hurt people.

The next Sunday, Joyce brought him to church and he gave his life to Jesus. Joyce said she thought she was buying a house. Actually, she was buying a soul.

Growing up, Joyce went through horrific pain—a pain that God never intended her to have. But it was a pain that shaped her in a way that made her stronger, better, and wiser.

Today, Joyce Meyer is being used by God to heal thousands of broken women who have also been abused.

What pain have you gone through?   I believe that your purpose is connected to your pain.

Overwhelmed by God's Love and Blessings

Lord, thank you so much for all the blessings that we received and for an answered prayer that the cancer didnot spread to other organs. Lord, thank you for showing us your loved thru the physical presence and prayers of our families, loved ones, sisters and friends online. Thank You Lord for everything especially your unconditional love for us. I praise you Lord, you know that. You know how feel deep inside and that time I got the good news. I love you Lord and please help me to be a blessing to others too because I feel so blessed. I know Lord that the battle is not yet over but knowing Lord that you are there always for us gives me comfort. Though there are moments Lord that I feel weak, please lift me up. My hubby has not received any treatment yet. He will be schedule for surgery next month Lord but no fixed schedule yet. My hubby said it will cost 10,000 dollars and after surgery we will know what stage the cancer is. Lord, you know that we have limited funds for now, my hubby just got work Lord last August and if we think about it, made me shrink and weak. Lord, I know You have plans for us and You always work in mysterious ways. Lord, be with us especially on my hubby with this journey. Give him strength Lord and let him feel of You great love. I may not be there physically Lord but I know You are there for him always. Thank You Lord.

Superb Lord - To describe your Love

People express their love in different ways. So do I. Sometimes I send you a material blessing that you’ve been praying for. Other times, I just overwhelm you with an unexplainable feeling of My love.

Yes Lord! I really feel how much You love me, it is superb Lord! Even the times of trial Lord, You still continue to show me that You are there, As always Lord, You never fail to amaze me. Thank You Lord so much. Thank You for an answered prayer. Thank you for the result of the ct scan was negative meaning the cancer didnot spread. We don't know what stage it is yet Lord until the surgery, we continue to pray Lord that it is only stage one and no need radiation or chemotherapy treatment. Lord God, we lift it again to You for we can do nothing but You can do amazing things no matter how bad the situation is. Praise you Lord. Thank You Father. I love you and have this desire to know You more and share to others that I am blessed so others will be blessed too. Thank You Lord.

It is My Time to Put My Faith into Action

Lord, this is the time I need to do put my faith into action..meaning Lord, surrendering to You everything because I believe that You are a good God, our Savior, our Healer and every good things come from You. I believe Lord that You have plans for each one of us, especially to me and to my hubby. Take in control Lord. I am so weak but I know You are strong. I love You Lord for being so good and for Your wonderful message tonight in the prayer meeting. Lord, I believe that You are already doing something in my hubby's condition. Thank you Father. I love You Lord.

God, You are so Amazing

Today is such a wonderful day.. Thank you Lord. Thank you so much Lord. You never fail to amaze me Lord God in this very time that I needed You the most and also my hubby. Thank You Lord for sending prophets to share Your words, they are very uplifting Lord and really gave me peace of mind.

This is what happened today after I chatted my hubby.

I decided to go out and went to church today because I really wanted to talk to God and to someone who is in Religious life or serving the Lord. I went to San Pedro Cathedral but I couldn't find any priest and the confession room, no one was there. So I did pray and begged God for another chance of my hubby's life. What a good feeling to be able to talk to God wholeheartedly. Thank you Lord for this opportunity again but I want in my life Lord to feel like this and praise You for all the things You've done and still going to do and for giving me this wonderful life with wonderful people around.
Yes, I couldn't helped but tears fell from my eyes while I was in the church. When I was about to say, " Lord, I believe that  You will a miracle today and You will answer our prayers.. I believe Lord" then suddenly I fell the wind blowing my hair". Wow, I said thank You Lord for I fell Your presence. I done praying and got out from the church with confidence and trust with the Lord that He will answer my prayers.
Thank You so much Lord.

After San Pedro church, I walked and went to St. Paul store because there is a chapel in there and I knew that there are nuns in there and I just wanted to talk to someone and prayed over for my hubby. I went inside and I saw a nun, I told her that I needed a pray over and she said that just write your petitions inside the chapel which I did. Thank You Father. I know and I believe that God allows this to happen to my hubby for a reason. Lord, my hubby is sorry now for his sins and what he had done wrong before, give him a chance Lord God and show Him your power and miracle. Lord, I come to You and You know my heart's desire. After I wrote my petitions and said my thank you to our Lord, I bought a Kerygma magazine for there is one thing that struck me there then went home. I haven't read the magazine yet but I will tomorrow.

I went home because the "Birhen sa Barangay" is in the house and we needed to pray the rosary. I wanted to start it earlier because I would go out to attend the prayer healing which my friend Heddah had been invited me before and I told myself that this is now the best time. I called the children in our neighbor so we could start early but it started to rain and I prayed that Lord please stop the rain and minutes later it went slow and gone.. Amazing.. Thank you Lord.  Before we started praying the rosary, I told the children that I will say my prayers/petitions first for this Holy Rosary and they were so quiet when I started my petition until the end of the rosary there was no laughing at all. Thank you Lord for they participated and it was such a great time to pray. Thank you Mama Mary for praying for us always and for your intercessions. Thank You and I love You for You've been a very good example to me/us and always ready to pray for us. We done praying the rosary and the rain started to pour again but we used umbrellas to transfer the Birhen sa Barangay to the next house.

I went out take a ride going to San Pedro church where the prayer meeting/healing will be held. It is so happened that there was no healing prayer tonight because it is their anniversary and they celebrated it by praising God through singing and food. I was late and we were shy to get in because there were foods so we decided to just pray inside the church and sat inside the office, behind the celebration. There was a vacant seat in there so we stayed in there and talked for a while. On the other room , there is another group doing the seminar, the Catholic Faith Defender then someone suddenly came out from that room while me and heddah were talking and it was my classmate from highschool named Ryan. When I saw him, I was so happy and told him already that wow, Ryan you are really God sent.. Yesterday, I was about to send him message on FB to ask him to pray for my hubby and I was not able to do so. Tonight, I saw him in person. I knew Ryan now is the president of the Catholic Faith Defender and has been so active with the church and I really thank the  Lord for sending another prophet tonight. I told him about our situation and he shared something to me that really gave me peace of mind. He said that God knows the desire of our heart even before we start to pray, He knows if our intentions are good and He will answer prayer if God found out that   your prayer is sincere for nothing is impossible with God.  He even said that what is happening to my hubby now is not a punishment from God, this is also brought by nature just like the food you eat. God will never punish us for He already saved us through Jesus who died for us. He told me to smile and be happy for we have been saved long time ago. Hubby Has Colon Cancer

The biopsy result was released today and it is colon cancer. I had already that in my mind that it is a cancer but prayed still that it was just benign. I am not mad Lord that You didnot answer my/our prayers, I have no reasons. Lord, be with us in this hard times especially on my hubby. Be his strength Oh Lord and send Him Your Holy Spirit to make him strong, give him wisdom, knowledge and everything he needs Lord to fight this battle. Lord, I believe in You and Your wonderful works. I believe that You let this happened for a reason.

Hubby shared something today to me on skype and I listened to him. I had the right to get mad but I chose not. He is already undergoing too much pain Lord. I feel very bad because I'm his wife and I couldn't be there for him when he needed me the most Lord. I may not be there for him Lord but I know You are always there for him and also his family. Thank you so much Lord and thank you for all my family, friends, and everyone who are praying for my hubby. You never fail to amaze me Lord of Your greatness. Thank you for your encouraging words, friends uplifting words and for everything that You've done for us Lord.
I give You glory Lord. I want to be a living messenger of Your great works Lord.

I know hubby had done wrong things before and me. Forgive him Oh Lord, forgive us with all of heart. I really saw hubby this time that he was so sorry and saw Your great love and miracles Lord. According to an article by Rutgers University says…people who rate their own health to be “poor” are five times more likely to die than those who rate their health as “excellent.” They were all in comparable health. Proverbs 23:7 …as he thinketh in his heart, so is he. 

One last scripture: (Matthew 9:29) …According to your faith be it unto you. 

Take these scriptures, copy them, and study them daily. Read them many times a day. Feed on them. Put them into your mind until they get down into your heart… until they are Rhema to you. They will become bigger than any report the Doctor could give. Greater is He that is in you than He that is in this world! (1John 4:4) You life many depend upon it.

A Prayer of Healing

While I was browsing my tablet today. I just got this message tonight from my Bible apps in android. This is the message. I was really amazed and would love to share it here.

Dear Lord, I believe that you are at work today and through the Your HOly Spirit are at work in us. I ask that by the power of Your Holy Spirit you would send your healing power and heal of I ask you to speak to me now if there is anything I/they need to do to fully receive Your healing. I than you Lord that you hear our prayers and I ask for this healing in Jesus' precious name.Amen

Thank you Lord for you always amazed me in so many ways. Thank you for being there for us. Thank You for showing to us Lord that despite this trial we are undergoing right now, You always there comforting us and showing how much You love us. Thank you Father.

Colonoscopy Result - Likely Malignant

Today hubby had his colonoscopy. It was not a good result. Hubby was so scared and cried again. The impression is likely malignant tumor in the rectum. We cried together and this is the biggest trial in our lives Lord. Lord, be out strength. We need you Lord. Have mercy on us. Lord, please I'm begging to you Lord that it is not malignant. I am praying for the result of the biopsy to be just benign Lord. Lord, we need you miracle. Please Lord, we offer this to you Lord. Help us Lord. Thank you Father.

Preparation for Colonoscopy

Today is a day prior to hubby's colonoscopy. I chatted with hubby on skype today and at first he was very anxious about the procedure but thank God later he started to feel better and only slight tummy pain. He was not able to attend the church but he said he prayed and read the Bible.
Honestly, I am also scared a little but God being there for my hubby washed my fear away. Yesterday, I went to church to attend mass and stayed there for one and half hour. I did really pray for my hubby and the outcome of the colonoscopy that nothing serious. Thank you so much Lord for your wonderful message yesterday, I know sometimes I force things to happen but You know Lord my weaknesses. I am sorry for those times Lord. Help us to trust You more Lord and be thankful for everything.
Hubby was listening to the message of the pastor tonight on television. Wow, I was amazed for that wonderful message of Yours Lord. He even pointed himself when the pastor said that who we are that keep asking God for signs and there were many already things that God did and still we don't believe. Lord, my hubby admitted that he was wrong and thank you so much Lord for showing him the truth. There are many times in the past Lord that he wanted to give up already but thank God You didnot let it happen. Thank you Lord for not giving on us. I couldn't express how grateful I am Lord for all the things you've done for us especially on my hubby. Eight hours from now Lord he will going to have his colonoscopy, be with him Lord and help him feel relax and not anxious. Though we could not avoid thinking of the result Lord but we put our trust in You Lord that nothing is serious and everything is normal in Jesus name. Thank you Lord. Thank you for being there for us. I praise You Lord God for all your goodness.

Holy Spirit, Enlighten Me and My hubby

"For the holy Spirit will teach you at that moment what you should say." – Luke 12:12

My husband and I love watching a game show on TV called Lingo. To get the jackpot prize, the contestants will have to guess 10 sets of five-letter words within two minutes. The more words they guess right, the more chances they get to win the prize. The contestants are given bonus letters that will help them figure out the right words. But due to much pressure, sometimes contestants forget about these bonus letters and get stuck in trying to guess one word, thus, limiting their chances of winning the big prize.
Sometimes it gets so frustrating when we try to witness to people around us and they just won't listen or simply not show interest. But I think the real problem in this situation is that we rely too much on our own abilities and fail to realize that we have a helper to aid us in sharing our faith and in convincing people of their need to follow Christ.
The Holy Spirit gives us wisdom beyond our natural abilities and the boldness to witness in the right manner in any given situation. Let us not forget about this gift so we may not miss the chance to win the prize of bringing others to Christ. Jane Gonzales-Rauch (mgr516@gmail.com)

Come to Our Aid Lord God - Please Lead Us

Another day of struggle Lord. I chatted to my hubby on skype this morning and he was upset again because of back and neck pain. Sorry Lord for what he said and reacted and thank you for backing me up again. Thank you for being there for us Lord. Please come to our aid Lord especially my hubby that he needs you the most. Help help calm Lord and overpower him Lord. Lord, I understand what he is going through and I really want to help him Lord and I know you are always there for us. Sometimes, I don't know how to handle things no more and thank You Lord for being there for me. I can't make it without You. Our situation Lord is very difficult but I believe Lord that you are always there helping us. Don't leave us Oh Lord. Please Lead us the right way and right decision. Thank You Father.

I just wanna say thank you Lord. Thank you Lord for everything especially Lord for healing my hubby. Thank you Lord for being there for us especially when we needed You the most. Praise you Lord God. Hubby said this morning that his tummy doesn't hurt no more and yesterday, he only made poop once and no water.. amazing Lord! praise you Lord. Thank you for all you'd done Lord and for all you going to do. Lord, please let us know to continue to colonoscopy or not, hubby said he wants one but it is expensive Lord. And also my prayer is for his complete healing so he won't need the colonoscopy Lord because of financial reason. Do you think we need it Lord? please enlighten my hubby's mind Lord if what is really the right one to do. The said colonoscopy schedule will be this Monday already Lord. Deserts

It didn't exactly look like a real sand desert, but there'd been a drought and everything and everyone was suffering from the lack of rain. The river behind our apartment wasn't it's usual bubbly, busy self, rushing loudly among the rocks and boulders. The animals were scrounging for food; bears were boldly coming into town in broad daylight to forage from the crabapple trees. Winter would be coming, and they were anxious to store away the needed 20,000 calories a day to hold them through winter.

Not a desert, just a temporary drought. Deserts are dry, dusty, and hot. They feel and look lifeless and unending. Spiritual deserts can be difficult places in our lives, for sure.

In the book of Exodus, beginning in the third chapter, we find the amazing and awesome account of Moses, beginning in the desert. At the time, Moses was simply and faithfully carrying out his day to day tasks, being a shepherd. It was a far cry and a long way from where he'd grown up.

After he had an encounter with the Lord in a burning bush, his life took a dramatic turn. During the time he was there, God had fine-tuned his hearing (he could hear and recognize the Lord loud and clear), he had his priorities straight (he couldn't figure out how this was going to happen but he trusted God and was obedient to His leading) and GOD PROVIDED (He gave him a staff to do miracles with, and a person to talk for him since he stuttered).

One thing to remember in the desert is that God is not absent. He may be `invisible', but He is nonetheless there, watching over us and putting together situations, people, and circumstances in our lives that will strengthen and equip us for where He is bringing us. He has not forgotten us. God has a plan for us, and it is good.* Even in the deserts.

That's good news.

* For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.  Jeremiah 29:11

Thank You Lord, Thank You Mama Mary and St. Jude

Thank you Lord God.. Thank you Mama Mary and St. Jude for your intercessions. Hubby told me today that this morning his poop was not watery and it was okay, praise You Lord. Thank you Lord. I praise you Lord for this very big improvement. A good news that I am willing to share to others. Lord, thank you. A million thanks Father.

Last night after we prayed together on skype, hubby told me that my picture on his computer  has rays of light and it was the first time he saw that one. He even showed it to me and I was amazed hearing from him and seeing it. It looks like rays of light from heaven. Hubby even told me that, it was a sign from God. I told him that yes, God has been showing you even before when you were a child that He is there. Lord, Thank you. Thank you. Thank you Lord for always there for us and loving us unconditionally. We owe this to you Lord and forever be grateful for this big miracle in our lives. I love you Lord.

Mama Mary, Pray For Us

Mama Mary, I know you are there ready to help us. We need your intercession Mama Mary for my hubby's complete healing, spiritual and physical. We believe Mama Mary that only our Lord can heal my hubby, please pray for my hubby. Thank you Mama Mary. I will do my best no to miss a day in praying the rosary, please help me too Mama Mary. You have proven from many other people and from my experience too that You are there ready to help us, praying for us. I have read miracle stories praying the rosary, I need a miracle Mama Mary. My hubby really needs healing Mama Mary, please Mama Mary, intercede for us. Thank you Mama Mary. Thank you Lord.

Our Lady's 15 Promises for Praying the Rosary

I'm very happy to be able to teach the children in our alley/area to pray the Rosary. Everyday, around 6:30 in the evening, we gather together to pray the rosary. I had been thinking this before to lead the "Birhen sa Barangay" as a thanksgiving to God and Mama Mary for all the blessings and this is also my way to let the kids experience what I experienced before. Thank you Lord for this chance to lead the children to pray the rosary. Thank you Mama Mary for all your intercessions from the past and for all that you are still going to intercede for us.

Besides the Indulgences attached to the Rosary, Our Lady revealed to St. Dominic and Blessed Alan de la Roche additional benefits for those who devoutly pray the Rosary. Our Lady's promise is shown in darker blue text. Additional explanation on and doctrinal connections to each promise is shown following in the smaller normal text font and color. Note that the Rosary is the prayer (non-Liturgical) with the most published Magisterial / Papal documents expounding on its excellence. Vatican II's summary on Our Lady is contained in Lumen Gentium chapter VIII.

1.	Whosoever shall faithfully serve me by the recitation of the Rosary shall receive signal graces.Signal Graces are those special and unique Graces to help sanctify us in our state in life. See the remaining promises for an explanation for which these will consist. St. Louis de Montfort states emphatically that the best and fastest way to union with Our Lord is via Our Lady [True Devotion to Mary, chapter four].
2.	I promise my special protection and the greatest graces to all those who shall recite the Rosary.Our Lady is our Advocate and the channel of all God's Grace to us. Our Lady is simply highlighting that She will watch especially over us who pray the Rosary. 3.	The Rosary shall be a powerful armor against hell, it will destroy vice, decrease sin and defeat heresies.This promise, along with the next, is simply the reminder on how fervent prayer will help us all grow in holiness by avoiding sin, especially a prayer with the excellence of the Rosary. An increase in holiness necessarily requires a reduction in sin, vice, and doctrinal errors (heresies). If only the Modernists could be convinced to pray the Rosary! (see Lumen Gentium chapter V - The Call to Holiness #42) St. Louis de Montfort states "Since Mary alone crushed all heresies, as we are told by the Church under the guidance of the Holy Spirit (Office of the Blessed Virgin Mary)..." 4.	It will cause good works to flourish; it will obtain for souls the abundant mercy of God; it will withdraw the hearts of men from the love of the world and its vanities, and will lift them to the desire for Eternal Things. Oh, that souls would sanctify themselves by this means.This promise, along with the previous, is the positive part, that being to live invirtue. Becoming holy is not only avoiding sin, but also growing in virtue. (seeLumen Gentium chapter V - The Call to Holiness #42)
5.	The soul which recommends itself to me by the recitation of the Rosary shall not perish.Since Our Lady is our Mother and Advocate, She always assists those who call on Her implicitly by praying the Rosary. The Church reminds us of this in the Memorareprayer, "... never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help or sought your intercession, was left unaided ..."
6.	Whosoever shall recite the Rosary devoutly, applying himself to the consideration of its Sacred Mysteries shall never be conquered by misfortune. God will not chastise him in His justice, he shall not perish by an unprovided death; if he be just he shall remain in the grace of God, and become worthy of Eternal Life.This promise highlights the magnitude of Graces that the Rosary brings to whomever prays it. One will draw down God's Mercy rather than His Justice and will have a final chance to repent (see promise #7). One will not be conquered by misfortune means that Our Lady will obtain for the person sufficient Graces to handle said misfortune (i.e. carry the Crosses allowed by God) without falling into despair. As Sacred Scripture tells us, "For my yoke is sweet and my burden light." (Matthew 11:30)
7.	Whoever shall have a true devotion for the Rosary shall not die without the Sacraments of the Church.This promise highlights the benefits of obtaining the most possible Graces at the hour of death via the Sacraments of Confession, Eucharist, and Extreme Unction (Anointing of the Sick). Being properly disposed while receiving these Sacraments near death ensures one's salvation (although perhaps with a detour through Purgatory) since a final repentance is possible.
8.	Those who are faithful to recite the Rosary shall have during their life and at their death the Light of God and the plenitude of His Graces; at the moment of death they shall participate in the Merits of the Saints in Paradise.Our Lady highlights the great quantity of Graces obtain through praying the Rosary, which assist us during life and at the moment of death. The merits of the Saints are the gift of God's rewards to those persons who responded to His Grace that they obtained during life, and so Our Lady indicates that She will provide a share of that to us at death. With this promise and #7 above, Our Lady is providing the means for the person to have a very holy death.
9.	I shall deliver from purgatory those who have been devoted to the Rosary.Should one require Purgatorial cleansing after death, Our Lady will make a special effort to obtain our release from Purgatory through Her intercession as Advocate.
10.	The faithful children of the Rosary shall merit a high degree of Glory in Heaven.This promise is a logical consequence of promises #3 and #4 since anyone who truly lives a holier life on earth will obtain a higher place in Heaven. The closer one is to God while living on earth, the close that person is to Him also in Heaven. The Catechism of the Catholic Church states "Spiritual progress tends toward ever more union with Christ." (Catechism of the Catholic Church paragraph 2014)
11.	You shall obtain all you ask of me by recitation of the Rosary.This promise emphasizes Our Lady's role as our Advocate and Mediatrix of all Graces. Of course, all requests are subject to God's Most Perfect Will. God will always grant our request if it is beneficial for our soul, and Our Lady will only intercede for us when our request is good for our salvation. (see Lumen Gentium chapter VIII - Our Lady #62)
12.	All those who propagate the Holy Rosary shall be aided by me in their necessities.If one promotes the praying of the Rosary, Our Lady emphasizes Her Maternal care for us by obtaining many Graces (i.e. spiritual necessities) and also material necessities (neither excess nor luxury), all subject to the Will of God of course.
13.	I have obtained from my Divine Son that all the advocates of the Rosary shall have for intercessors the entire Celestial Court during their life and at the hour of death.Since Our Lady is our Advocate, She brings us additional assistance during our life and at our death from all the saints in Heaven (the Communion of Saints). See paragraphs 954 through 959 in the Catechism of the Catholic Church.
14.	All who recite the Rosary are my Sons, and brothers of my Only Son Jesus Christ.Since the Rosary is a most excellent prayer focused on Jesus and His Life and activities in salvation history, it brings us closer to Our Lord and Our Lady. Doctrinally, Our Lady is our Mother and Jesus is our Eldest Brother, besides being our God. (see Lumen Gentium chapter VIII - Our Lady #62)
15.	Devotion to my Rosary is a great sign of predestination.Predestination in this context means that, by the sign which is present to a person from the action of devoutly praying the Rosary, God has pre-ordained your salvation. Absolute certainty of salvation can only be truly known if God reveals it to a person because, although we are given sufficient Grace during life, our salvation depends upon our response to said Grace. (See Summa Theologica, Question 23 for a detailed theological explanation). Said another way, if God has guaranteed a person's salvation but has not revealed it to Him, God would want that person to pray the Rosary because of all the benefits and Graces obtained. Therefore the person gets a hint by devotion to the Rosary. This is not to say that praying the Rosary guarantees salvation - by no means. In looking at promises #3 and #4 above, praying the Rosary helps one to live a holy life, which is itself a great sign that a soul is on the road to salvation. In fact, St. Louis de Montfort says even more strongly that "an infallible and unmistakable sign by which we can distinguish a heretic, a man of false doctrine, an enemy of God, from one of God's true friends is that the hardened sinner and heretic show nothing but contempt and indifference to Our Lady..." [True Devotion to Mary, #30]

Reminder: these promises mean that, by faithfully and devoutly praying the Rosary, Our Lady will obtain for us the necessary Graces to obtain said promises. It is still up to each individual soul to respond to those Graces in order to obtain salvation.
