It’s not easy… - Yes Lord!

I am feeling down really today knowing about how my hubby reacted to his pain again that instead of trusting more to God, he complains. It is always like this and it is not easy because I am hurting.

Yesterday night as my family was praying, holding hands, all eyes closed, head bowed, got me thinking how this earth is filled with so much pain, hurt, and sorrow. We didn’t pray much for our need because we are so grateful for everything. We prayed for hurting family, friends who are sick with cancer, friends who are struggling to get by each day, wondering which bills to pay first.  It was heart wrenching to the point I felt a grip on my heart. I could barely swallow. My heart grieved, it pounded so fast as if tears started dripping out of my heart.

My mind trying to grasp  all that is going in our surrounding in HOPE that God will rescue all people and deliver us. I don’t know about you, but anytime I hear bad news about a close loved one or friends my heart sinks, eyes filled with tears and my world stops turning for 60 seconds and I lose sight of who God is for that moment. It’s so easy to forget who He is in the midst of our pain, isn’t it?

We all want our close loved one to experience peace, joy, contentment, and enjoy life to its fullest. I know I do. However, I need to remember to hand over my grief, broken heart, and my tears into His loving hands, making sure I don’t carry it with me. Beauty for ashes.  Psalm 56:8 – You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book. Tears are seeds that’s being deeply planted into His soil so it may reap a wonderful harvest.

Let’s trust God during these hard times. Your tears, heart aches, brokenness, pains, trials are being sown! In God’s timing He will do what is right and not what we want Him to do. But during these trying times He will take us by our hands and walk with us, His arms around our shoulders to comfort us. He will never walk away leaving us to ourselves. We just need to trust in Him. His arms are wide open and waiting for us to walk right up to Him in brokenness so we can accept every good thing He has for us.

Thank You Lord for this inspiring message. Please help me and my hubby Lord. Transform us to the couple you want us to be. We have weakness Lord and please be our strength. Give us wisdom, knowledge and understanding on the things that are happening right now. I can't make it alone Lord without You.
I am crying right now, I am in pain and don't know until when this will be over.  Help me Lord. I am weak. I can't take my hubby complaining always about his pain and blaming it to You. I Can't Handle it No More

Lord, I'm tired. Honestly Lord, it was me alone I had given up already. Hubby is not changing Lord and he is not improving especially his relationship with You. Everytime he experienced pain, he always complains and blame it to You. Sometimes I am telling myself that I was wrong in choosing the guy I married because I prayed for a God fearing person but my hubby is not because I thought and believed that You can change him Lord. Maybe this is really true Lord - the picture below- but I am trying to prove that its not true to all because God can transform a person. I am losing hope Lord because it is been like this, it is a routine and he never change. Sorry Lord but everytime my hubby is acting like that, I am hurting deep inside. Is this a time for me to move on Lord knowing he won't ever change? Which is which Lord? Please help me. Do we stil have hope in our situation? Sorry Lord, I know that You are our hope and You can do the impossible thing. I don't know when You will answer my prayer Lord but You know I still trust You and I don't have anyone to run to - ONLY YOU.

Chemoradiotherapy Side Effects - Lifting it to You Lord

Thank God for these days.. Hubby will start his treatment next month and he shared it to me what the doctor said about the side effects of the therapy. I started to get worry knowing the side effects and that he might wear a bag for life and we can't have a baby no more. I was thinking of the results of the treatment but I told my hubby its okay as long as You will be okay and free from that disease. Lord, you know how started to worry and worried but I know Lord nothing is impossible to You. I am lifting it to You Lord, the most important for now is the healing of my hubby and You know that Father. Thank you so much for everything. 

Chemoradiotherapy side effects

Having chemotherapy and radiotherapy together can make the side effects of the treatments worse. The combined treatment may make you feel very tired. You may also have diarrhoea, feel sick, and have a low resistance to infection. The radiotherapy may make you feel that you need to pass urine more often and can cause very sore skin in the treatment area.

Abdominoperineal resection (APR) has long been considered to be the standard operation for lower rectal tumors with a distal edge up to 6 cm from the anal verge. However, despite providing excellent local control and survival, the APR entails a permanent colostomy and a high incidence of sexual and urinary dysfunction. Thanksgiving Day

Today, my US family is celebrating their thanksgiving. There are so many thanks to be grateful to our God today for all the blessings He continues to shower to us and to our families. Thank You so much Lord. Thank you for Your great love that even if how many times we fail You but still You continue to be with us. Thank You Lord for all the blessings. I am counting the blessings You have given us this month alone but its huge.

MRI Result - Did Not Spread - Thank You Lord

Today hubby had his MRI while I was sleeping. I just found out in the morning when I woke up and read his messages. He was so nervous about the result and praise God because the result was good, it didnot spread. Thank You Lord. Hubby told me that when he was in the doctor's office, his friend James called him and said a prayer. I was really amazed how You are working Lord. You are always true to Your promise. Thank You Lord. When I received my hubby's good news, I was thanking God and couldn't help but tears flow from my eyes, tears of joy. Thank You Lord. Thank You Mama Mary for your intercession and St. Peregrine and the saints. Lord, hubby won't start his chemo and radiation until December 10. Lord, we know that You are still in control. Lord, continue to be with my hubby and that praying Lord that the cancer won't spread and that everything will go well with his treatment.  Thank You Lord. All for Your Glory Lord. Thank You Father.

Today we received the good news about the chemo pills of my hubby to be free from social work. Then later tonight we received another good news the approval of hubby's insurance from the government. Thank You so much Lord for all the blessings. It seems everything going well with the support Lord but my hubby is not ready Lord. He is so stressed out that his back and neck are in pain, numb and tingling. But I thank You Lord for all the blessings today. Thank You for working with us and giving all our needs. Lord, does my hubby really need to undergo both chemo and radiation therapy at the same time? Please Lord help us and guide them and doctor who will treat my hubby, let them be your instrument Lord God. Praying Lord that the result of the MRI will be a miracle - that the cancer didnot spread and the tumor is gone. Kindly please take away the cancer of my hubby Lord. Only You Lord can take it away in a snap. You know the desire of our hearts Lord. Sorry Lord for sometimes we wanted things to happen in an instant and not on your timing. Sorry Lord for all those times. Thank You Lord once again for everything and for providing the things that my hubby needs.
Lord,  I'm asking you again for another favor to please show my hubby and me what You wanted us to do for you. Lord, you know how stressed he is right now. Please teach him how to manage his stress Lord before the start of the treatment if that is Your will. Lord, he is having numbness and tingling on his back and neck and the stress is killing him, please show him Lord what to do to handle the stress. Thank You Lord. I am not saying that your problems came because you don’t obey God… I just wanted to share these verses because I share them with everyone I meet and also because they are promises. They tell us of how our God rewards those who are faithful! If you are being faithful to God and following his word… then trust that ALL OF THESE PROMISES ARE FOR YOU!!!

I am sorry that you are going through all this stuff, but not one leaf of a tree falls without our Father allowing it. As crazy as it may sound sometimes God allows things to happened to us… because he wants because us to grow. James 1:2-4 says “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds,because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”

Also… today I got in a big argument with my dad and I stormed off. I was so angry and God send me two verses. Proverbs 15:1, “A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.” It really made me think of how sometimes I could end a discussion if I would just speak nicely to my dad or to anyone for that matter. I know how hard it is when your father is not saved… It is so frustrating, but there is nothing that we can do… humanly possible there is NOTHING we can do but pray. Scripture says “I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God made it grow.” 1 Corinthians 3:6

You have planted a seed in your father’s heart by speaking to him about Jesus Christ our Savior and all you can do is trust and wait until God makes that seed grow! For our FATHER GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!!!

Also, if you are praying to our Father God then know that he will answer for his words says that everything we ask in prayer in the name of Jesus Christ he will answer! It is also written that HE will give us all the desires of our hearts! in psalms 37:4 “Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” And scripture also says in Acts 16:30-31 “He then brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved? They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.”

A man was sleeping at night in his cabin when suddenly his room filled with bright light and the Savior appeared. The Lord told the man He had work for him to do, and showed him a large rock in front of his cabin. The Lord explained that the man was to push against the rock with all his might. This, the man did, day after day.

For many years he toiled from sun up to sun down with his shoulders set squarely against the cold, massive surface of the unmoving rock, pushing with all his might. Each night the man returned to his cabin sore, and worn out, feeling that his whole day had been spent in vain.

Seeing that the man was showing signs of discouragement, the Adversary decided to enter the picture by placing thoughts into the man’s weary mind: “You’ve been pushing against that rock for a long time, and it hasn’t budged. Why kill yourself over this? You’re never going to move it” —thus, giving the man the impression that the task was impossible and that he was a failure. These thoughts discouraged and disheartened the man.

“Why kill myself over this?” he thought. “I’ll just put in my time, giving just the minimum effort and that’ll be good enough.”

And that’s just what he planned to do— until one day he decided to make it a matter of prayer and take his troubled thoughts to the Lord.

“Lord” he said, “I’ve labored long and hard in Your service, putting all my strength to do that which You’ve asked. Yet, after all this time, I haven’t even budged that rock by half a millimeter. What’s wrong? Why am I failing?”

The Lord responded compassionately,

“My friend, when I asked you to serve Me— you accepted. I told you that your task was to push against the rock with all your strength— which you’ve done. Never once did I mention to you that I expected you to move it. Your task was to push. And now you come to Me— with your strength spent, thinking that you’ve failed. But is that really so?”

“Look at yourself. Your arms are strong and muscular. Your back sinew is mighty. Your hands are callused from the constant pressure;and your legs have become massive and hard. At times, when we hear from God, we tend to use our own intellect to decipher what He wants. What God ACTUALLY wants is just simple OBEDIENCE and FAITH IN HIM.

By all means, exercise the faith that moves mountains, but know that it’s still God who moves the mountains.

Unexpected Day

Earlier today was really an unexpected day for me. I went online to chat with my hubby but I got an offline message from him saying -


my dear maria fe,,, i think its better you go on with your life,, the stress and cancer is going to kill me and god is not helping me at all ,,,, the strees in my back is total numbness and tingling,,, and my neck is killing me ,,,,,,so since god is doing nothing with me as usual it just better i jus dieand go to hell,,, i wish this was not happening and i am so sorry that you are a part of this,,,, but god cannot help me and no one can the stress is to bad and the cancer will win,,,i am so sorry maria fe but you do deserve much better ,,,,,god bless you maria fe and your entire family.  i love you all

I went into panic mode but saw that his sister was online on skype and called her and we talked. While she was waiting to hear and connect to my hubby, I turned into prayer. I talked to God and Mama Mary. I was begging and asking God - please Lord don't let it happen. I knew I can't do anything especially I'm thousand miles away but I believe God can do something in our situation. I prayed the rosary and trust God that He would do something and control it. Yes, indeed! Thank you Lord for listening and answering my prayer. The brother of my hubby went to check on him and his room was closed and so he went outside the window of my hubby's room and saw he was there lying on bed and staring on the roof, bothered. The brother called my hubby and thank God, he responded and let him in. Atlast, after an hour of waiting, we heard from hubby. His sister talked to him on phone, crying. Everyone is so stressed out but committing a suicide is never a solution to a problem.
My hubby went online and we chatted. He didnot say any words but he just typed everything how he feels. He was mad at God for not answering his prayers to heal him. I just let him expressed and let him vented everything how he feels. I just said, its okay. It was a very had day for him because of suffering from backpain, neck pain and tummy pain. He is afraid that the cancer spreads already. He is afraid to die yet but he said he wasn't afraid to go to hell. Yes, I understand him and couldn't blame him but I blamed the devil for overpowering him. I believed it was not him, it was the devil talking. Lord, please forgive my hubby for he didnot know what he was saying. Sorry Lord for sometimes I feel that maybe I was forcing him to You.
You know I said Yes to you last time Lord to use me and You answered my prayer. I didnot know it would be this hard. I didnot expect it Lord but I still trust You Lord that You are with us in this battle. Direct this battle Lord, be the director of our lives. It it was me Lord, I already given up but when I think of You Lord, You always give me hope and that I believe that nothing is impossible with You. I'm lifting and surrender everything to You Lord. But sorry for sometimes I still think and ask you, I couldn't help it Lord. Thank You Lord for being there when we needed You the most. Thank you for not giving on my hubby when he was about to give up. Thank You Lord.

Yes Lord!

I attended the prayer meeting tonight and I really loved it. Wow! very nice tonight Lord, what a great speaker brother Vic, thank You for your message to me through him. Thank you for the sharers also tonight Lord about how You answered to their prayers Lord. I was really amazed Lord how You work. Lord, last time I said Yes to You to use me, I never regret it Lord and I believe Lord that You are also using my hubby. Use us Lord to be a living testimony on how You work in our lives so we can share it to others if it is Your will Lord. I would love to do it Lord but me and hubby couldn't do it without You Lord. Sorry Lord during those times that I asked You why, I know I don't have that right Lord but You know I am weak and You are strong. Thank You Lord for guiding us, for never leaving us Lord and for working in mysterious ways.

Yes Lord! I don't wanted to boast it yet Lord but I feel it Lord. It is the first time since I attended back to prayer meeting that I was able to write my hubby's name on the healing petition and almost I didnot make it but I made it tonight Lord, almost I didnot make it. Lord God thank you for Your wonderful messages tonight, thank You for being our Hope, our Strength and our Life. Brother Vic also shook my hand Lord, I mean he is the first speaker to that. I was happy Lord when he did that, I felt something different tonight.

I was about to give my testimony tonight Lord but there were only two persons who made it because their testimonies were long but they both inspired me and gave me hope. I said really wow.

I want to share it. The first who gave the testimony was an foreigner mother with her daughter. The daughter read the testimony on a paper - the mother was diagnosed with heart blockage and needed to undergo angioplasty the soonest, she even did second opinion from other doctor and same recommendation. She told her daughter about it who was at that time is in Australia, doing her medicine studies. Her daughter said to wait for her to get back before doing the surgery. She waited until her daughter came home and they did another test, this time it showed that the block was small and no need to undergo surgery and can be treated by medications already. Wow! with prayers nothing is impossible. Praise you Lord. The second who gave the testimony is also a mother. She was so happy to share it to us about how God answered her prayers. She said, there were so many trials she encountered but all she did but never to give up and praying so hard to God and all of them were answered. I was amazed Lord and said wow. Thank You Lord for working in amazing ways, thank you for so good and for answering our prayers. You know the desire of my heart Lord. Thank You Lord for other people who inspired me. Thank You Lord for working in us.  

After the prayer meeting Lord, I went home. While inside my the jeepney, I texted my hubby that the prayer meeting was over and I did also sent him a message saying - You are healed in Jesus Mighty Name and through the powerful intercession of Mama Mary and St. Peregrine. And I was really surprised of my hubby's reply - wow hon that was a powerful prayer. thank you. I said yes hon, I believe that God healed you and said just believe. 

So many wonderful things happening today Lord. Thank You Lord. Thank You. Thank You Father.  Thank you for the intercession of Mama Mary, St. Peregrine and the saints.

Hubby Met the Oncologist - Praise you Lord!

Earlier this morning was my hubby's appointment to see the oncologist. He went to see the doctor with his sister Karen.  Thank God for Karen was with him today, she didn't make it to school even if she had an exam just to accompany my hubby. Thank You Lord for giving my hubby supportive sisters and brother, a very supportive family. Thank You Lord for a very good meeting today with the oncologist. I talked to Karen and my hubby, they shared what happened today. Wow! I was really amazed Lord because I see that You are always working with us.  Thank You Lord for the doctor was so nice to my hubby, he even spent more than an hour and did not charge them anything or maybe the doctor forgot to ask for payment. Whatever it is Lord, I could say what a blessing! Thank You Lord for being so good, thank you for your gigantic love.  Thank You Lord for being a good provider. Yes, we are financially unstable and this trial is happening and I thank you Lord for that because in nothingness, we able to see and witness your graces and that having You Lord is we got everything. Thank You Lord for working in ways we can't see but through others, we are able to see and feel it Lord. Thank you Father.

The doctor said Lord that hubby needs to undergo chemotherapy and radiation for 5 weeks then surgery after. Karen asked the doctor if there is a possibility that there will be no surgery after chemo and radiation but the doctor said, they will still perform the surgery to remove the remaining cancer cells left. I understood the procedure the way the doctor wanted it Lord but I believe Lord that You can heal my hubby. 

My hubby needs another test Lord, the MRI to know the extent of the cancer. Hubby is scared that it had spread but I believe Lord God that You already killing the cancer. Please help my hubby Lord how to deal with his stress. Be with him Lord as you always do. Thank You Lord.

Hubby told me that Sister Sharon from spiritual direction caller her earlier. I was the one who sent her an email while browsing the St.Austin Church website looking for help.  Thank you Lord for You brought me there. Hubby said that sister Sharon was so nice over the phone and hubby was happy to talk to her. Lord God thank you for working on us. Use me and my hubby Lord for your glory. You know Lord how I feel in serving You. Thank you Lord for this trial, for showing us the way, the truth and life - You Lord.
